Pros
The physical work environment is decent. Admin is constantly purchasing new workspace furniture.
Cons
I worked in the T&I/Technology department. This department is extremely racist/colorist. To a lesser extent, they are sexist and ageist. They welcome with open arms, males who (appear to be) middle aged and older, and preferably white. If you even look like a woman younger than 30, brace yourself for the ageist comments and hardships; and if you are a “woman of color”, you should run far away. The icing on the cake: T&I management are habitual liars and gossipers. They also partake in actions that are knowingly unethical. Hiring committees don’t often come across amazing talent. A lot of the hires I seen were mostly people who knew someone, and lesser-experienced folks who had 1 or 2 key skills on their resume, but performance level was below average. A lot of these people have the analytical skills of a middle schooler. Anyone who exceeds that is labeled a problem.
