      Great place to work, new technologies, good team, actually busy though

      Pros

      Actually using new technology, obvious some drawbacks, but not stuck on 10 year old libraries. Interesting work: given the space, it feels like there's a lot of room for innovation Above average culture: lots of nice perks, like 2,500 USD bonus for taking 5 consecutive vacation days every year, annual retreat for the entire team somewhere interesting, flexible work schedule/location.

      Cons

      Management is often working late, so there is some pressure to be around.

      Pros

      The culture and the people and the teamwork. The 3 most important things I was looking for in my next role. From top to bottom, the people are wonderful human beings, wicked smart, super fun, care deeply about the company and devoid of ego. I had spent so many years in corporate America, I never knew I could love a workplace this much. We have a strong office culture. We eat lunches together -- like, we sit down at the same table together. I have never done that in my entire career. I love it. And while we are a global company, we still manage to feel like a tight-knit team between our weekly all-hands, inter-office visits and our annual offsites.

      Cons

      I honestly have nothing negative to say. If anything, some people are so friendly and interpersonal that meetings run over and start late.

      Pros

      Best culture I've ever encountered. It feels like we're all working towards the same goal, which really cuts down on politics. The senior management are down to earth and great to work with. Extremely transparent, and its clear they care about the quality of life we have.

      Cons

      If you're not self-motivated/driven, it can feel too fast paced. You need to be able to own your work, and make good decisions. Not for everyone. Note: I've been here less than a year, so I don't know how good our career opportunities are, hence the 4 stars.
