Pros

It's great to work in a place entirely dedicated to helping other people. The values of compassion and equality are cherished by everyone. For the most part, senior management is extremely open and fully engaged with staff at all levels. Great benefits.

Cons

It is extremely difficult to get promotions. Although HR touts a commitment to equality in pay and job grade, that commitment is less than apparent in reality.
