Messed up company, corrupt leadership

Remote work from your home.

Cons

CEOs, VPs and managers are in constant denial about the disgraceful working conditions. There is an unbelievably big HR team that is ignorant to the problems in the company. Mass firing was done brutally stating financial concerns and some big levelled people cried in the big company meeting for the layoffs. And still after layoffs the company is doing constant parties, free massages and sending gifts. Employees are suffering to extents because of terrible leaders. But still they keep saying we want to be "your employer of choice". When employees wanted to start the Works Council (Betriebsrat), the HR team tried to crush it and came after the people involved with it. If the HR team at a company can act like this, how can you expect anything to be trusted and fair? Important: do not believe any of the marketing gimmicks from recruiters that the culture at the company is wonderful and all nice.

Flexibility to work from home Onboarding for new employees All the fancy parties that are organized well Team events and certain teams work in a very cohesive way

The management is completely clueless and lost about the company's vision as it keeps changing occasionally without much clarification and validation. The culture has become so ugly with time that if you don't keep the management happy, they will fire you without giving you any prior feedback or warnings. Imagine being told that you are not good enough for the company without any warning or feedback. It is the most unethical and ridiculous way of dealing with employees. No room for learning or any workshops or anything until you explicitly push for it. Everything is micro-managed and you are questioned by the management for everything you do in a day. Also, there is too much ego to deal with among teams. The core problem lies with how management and seniors deal with their peers & other colleagues. Even during the exit, they want to make sure that other colleagues don't see management's ugly face and just try to quiet you. Abundant of mental trauma and exploitation during the exit phase. One of the main root causes is one part of the management that is discretely playing all the ugly games and misusing their power.

Pros

Nice hr. And Good teammates.

Cons

Poor management. CEO is negligent of tech team. Consultants are at all high positions and making decisions. No trust in internal employees. Salary is very much less than average software salaries. Strange promotions. If you win favour of ceos and superiors you get promotions. All talk, no real work gets appreciation here. Product team has same problem.
