      Senior Software Engineer

      Pros

      1) good pay 2) increment every year (But delayed) 3) chance to learn lot of technology 4) chance to work on many projects 5) pure Indian company 6) no strict rules. full freedom 7) projects are for telecom networks around the world. 8) chance to visit client sites (short duration). 9) small company , family like environment. 10) around 40-50% employees are above 10 year experienced in the same company, many are above 20 year experienced(including other job) so their is lot of opportunity to learn from senior staff.

      Cons

      1) some times need to fix bugs urgently , even in night time, because these softwares are working on telecom networks and many peoples get affected. 2) Junior employees are moving with in 2-3 years to other companies, so the work load is coming back to seniors, and at least 1 year is required for a person to learn comfort level. so now a days company is giving immediate works to freshers, earlier days they were giving chance to work on project after 8-10 months only , only after training. now giving project with in 2-3 months. 3) Company is not recruiting experienced guys so their is huge gap between existing senior staff and juniors(age , experiences , salary etc).
