I have used Taylor Hodson on-and-off for the past 13 years as both an agency to seek temporary positions and permanent positions. Each time I have needed their assistance (3 times over this time span), they have been there for me, helping me update my resume to present myself and my skills in the best light possible, assisting with interviewing tips and even software tutorials to get me to that next level of professionalism.

As most people know, moving to New York is a common dream... but what most may not know, is that finding a job in New York is one of the biggest obstacles a person will face in once they get here! It really doesn't matter how long you went to school, or what amazing you job you might have had in your desired field in another state... what matters is NY experience. Finding a good staffing agency that will go to bat for you is SUPER important. Honestly, if I hadn't have found TH, I wouldn't be living in New York today. About a year before I was planning to move from Houston, TX, I sent an email to TH inquiring about a job that was posted on their website. I just wanted to get a feel for who they were and what kind of money I might be able to make being placed in a role through staffing in NY. Within 24 hours, I had a response, and a very personal one, from none other than the president of the agency. I was floored. She offered guidance and her point of view, and then told me that if I did end up moving, that I should come in and see her personally. About a year later to the day, I walked into TH for the first time. That was January of 2013. It's a long story, that I won't bore everyone with the details on, but the ending is too good not to share! After less than 8 weeks, I was placed in an AMAZING job, making far more than I ever thought I would for my first roll in this city, and doing EXACTLY what I wanted to do. The TH team did all the work... they reached out to the clients, they prepped me for interviews, they comforted me when jobs didn't work out... and they celebrated with me when the dream job rolled around. Honestly, the people at this agency take a personal approach to staffing and that is what makes them so special. They don't just take in as many clients and applicants as they can, they screen and take the time to build a relationship so that when they are vouching for someone, they are proud to put the TH name behind them, and the candidates are proud to be part of the TH family. I would recommend Taylor Hodson to everyone and anyone in New York or planning to start over here... without their help and guidance, I would still be looking for a job. Thanks guys!!!
