Pros

Working at Taylor Made Experience does provide exposure to high-level events and client work, which can be valuable early in your career.

Cons

The company struggles with organization and lacks clear, consistent processes, which leads to frequent last-minute changes, confusion, and unnecessary stress. Internal communication is often inconsistent, making it difficult to manage expectations and complete tasks efficiently. The workload can be heavy and at times unrealistic, with long hours expected. Work-life balance is also poor, not only due to the hours but because professional boundaries can feel blurred. There is a workplace culture that at times encourages a level of personal involvement that can feel uncomfortable and difficult to separate from professional expectations. More concerning is the overall workplace culture. There were repeated instances of insensitive and inappropriate comments, including a situation where slavery was referred to as a “partnership.” There were also moments where leadership referenced personal connections to the Black community in ways that felt out of place and did not meaningfully address concerns. Experiences like this, along with ongoing microaggressions, contributed to an uncomfortable environment. It was also noticeable that multiple Black employees left the company, and at times it was difficult to identify more than one Black employee still actively employed. This raises concerns about inclusivity and retention.
