I didn’t work for Team International, but it was a terrible interviewing experience. I had good calls with two folks at Team International, and they extended an offer after my second call. Considering I would be the first rep in the United States there was a lot of uncertainty with the position, so I tried to negotiate for a draw. It’s very common for a sales rep to negotiate their compensation - we are in sales, it is literally what we do. The day after I asked to negotiate my compensation they withdrew my offer letter. I sent a 3 paragraph follow up trying to understand the “why” behind the withdrawal and if I could address concerns if there were any, and their entire response was a thumbs up emoji. There was zero reasoning for the withdrawal other than two sentences just saying they decided it wasn’t a good fit and they were withdrawing the offer. When you’re more professional than your potential employers, they shouldn’t be your employers. It’s truly embarrassing how unprofessional and lazy they handled the entirety of the process. If that is how they treat a potential employee I couldn’t imagine how bad upper management is within the business. I dodged a bullet, and I’d recommend anyone considering a job at this company to stay far away.
