Pros

-Good snacks sometimes -You'll work with some great people. Others, not so much

Cons

-After watching the Fyre Festival documentary I was amazed at the similarities to Whistle Sports. This company views it's success as getting investors. Everything you do for this company will exist solely for accomplishing of getting more investors. If that includes fudging some numbers to meet a certain objective then you'll be asked to do that. -Behind the scenes the company is falling apart, they keep laying people off due to shifts in the company that happen every few months. Employees that leave on their own often quit with no notice due to being sick of working for Whistle. -Teams often clash and there's not a lot of chemistry. Every team has their own priorities which often clash with others which causes friction. -There's absolutely no transparency by upper-management and they'll constantly tell you everything is great while laying people off and they lose clients. -The place is terribly sexist.

Terrible Leadership Driving the Company Into the Ground

Pros

- There are some really, really smart and talented employees who care about the quality of their work - Great benefits (if you're team's culture allows you to take them).

Cons

- This company is way too top-heavy with executives going behind each other's back, visibly fighting with each other, and using employees to get information to advance their own agendas - Complete lack of diversity and a terrible place to work as a woman unless you enjoy men not looking you in the eye or staring at your chest. - There is no ethical standard and the executive and sales team will lie and do whatever it takes to make money. - They will make up an entire market to be "experts" in by paying a third party to provide fake research that claims a 20-person sample size of white, teenage boys are "nationally representative" - Almost non-existent communication from the executive team about what's going on with the company - It doesn't matter if you're a top-performer at the company. They will fire you on the spot because they wasted million $+ salaries on consultants and leadership without any regard for the impact it will make on culture, clients, or the employees and their families.

Pros

They care enough about their glassdoor reviews to post fake reviews to try and trick people

Cons

This company has literally no foresight. It hires when things go well and immediately cuts people they just hired the first sign of a downturn. This company does not care about you or your career. I've seen plenty of people get hired and fired within 3 months just because they lost a client. The culture is toxic and if you're not "all-in" you will be shunned and bullied. The branded content is a joke. Look at any ad or post. Most of the comments will either be from spam accounts, a Whistle-owned account commenting three emoji's, or a Whistle employee sharing the post with another employee to make it look like someone is organically sharing the content. Think about how pathetic that is. An account with 2.5MM Instagram followers needs to have their own employees comment on their account to fool the clients they are selling to. Does this sound like a growing company "on the rise" to you? If that isn't enough, their Instagram loses 300 followers a day. By this time next year it will probably drop to 2.4MM. This company fails to realize who they are and what they bring to the table. Instead they have just convinced themselves that because they struck lightning in the bottle once, they are ESPN Jr. Avoid this place at all costs. Going here was the biggest mistake of my career.
