It is a culture of snitching on each other, writing fake reviews when products go onto a site, forced scientology courses, sign legal paperwork that says 'hey girls', and the CEO lacks tact to converse with other employees. It is hard to stay passionate about your job when actions in the company constantly make you feel like you are the odd one out. There is a clear 'look' for the employees and models that they go with for product photoshoots. Instead of showing the full spectrum of people that Teami helps it the photos show the same few models (who are also employees) and turn away feedback. One of the BIGGEST problems with this company is the lack of respect for a home life. They are a 'small company' still and have only been around for 5 years but if you don't resolve an issue as soon as it shows up you are reprimanded the following day during 'business hours'. The problem being with the majority of the business being on social media is that it never sleeps so in turned YOU never sleep. The work ethic of the CEO is to sleep for a few hours, work all day, go work out, shower and work some more. It is not sustainable and is often pushed as what you need to do in order to move up in the company. I had pay raises that I earned pushed back time and time again which later turns out was due to HR not wanting to pay it. If you go check out ULTA you can see a huge influx of 'positive' reviews that where all posted around the same time of the same day. Want to know why? That was a message sent out to every employee.
