Senior management is incompetent and still trying to learn how to run a software consultancy. The managers are focused chiefly on selling new projects,s and some key positions are missing altogether; for example, there is no dedicated HR department to take care of employee relations and their well-being in general.
The company also doesn't seem to believe in investing in building long-lasting careers that support employee personal growth and can treat you quite ruthlessly if everything does not go as planned. For example, my job at Teamit ended when I was fired without reason on probation after I developed some severe health issues and was forced to take a couple of weeks of sick leave.
