Pros

- A supportive, vibrant and energetic team. Everyone is really friendly and willing to help and even though I don't work here anymore, I really do miss everyone here. - A generous learning & development package. - Ability to work flexible hours and remotely, with fun workshops to get involved with on in-person monthly team days. - The programme offering is really solid and fills a strong niche within the tech market focusing on technical upskilling, career & mindset management and confidence. - There is a strong focus on community and everyone is doing a great job of involving the whole tech community on driving forward key industry initiatives such as inclusion & diversity, ensuring underrepresented groups in the technology industry get access to technical, career, confidence and leadership upskilling opportunities and advising on strategies to removing biases in tech hiring processes, especially for those with career breaks. - On a personal role level, you get what you put into the role. As a Software Engineer & Tech Coach, I got to design, write and deliver curricula for programmes end-to-end, with plenty of autonomy and ownership. I would say the coaching roles would suit self-starters and those more established in their skillset. There is also opportunity to support on the programme delivery and make recommendations too. - I was well-supported by my manager, who listened to my needs and provided me with expert coaching on a human-level which I didn't get anywhere else. - The technology team is made up of highly-talented people who are friendly and a really good laugh too! - I felt like I made a big impact through coaching on the programmes such as the Your Return to Tech Programme and the DevOps Upskill Programme. I was able to hone in my skills in technology by coaching others.

Cons

- Since it is a high-growth company, there are many changes and iterations at times, meaning some things are still highly-unstructured. Though, if you enjoy this, you will have plenty of opportunity to get involved with improving current processes. - At the time of writing, there was a high weighting towards tech coaching rather than Software Engineering, though this is being actively restructured. If you enjoy coaching others and learning through advising others, this role is for you. - Peaks and troughs with the role based on the cadence of the programmes and when they are scheduled in throughout the year. Sometimes, things can feel quite repetitive, while at other times, the role is quite demanding. - No private healthcare (still being researched).

Pros

- Founders both incredible people who care about the business but more so the people in it - Very good managers and leaders within the business who want to support people - Very flexible and hybrid working, not just a label but flexibility is offered at a human level - The work done is really genuine, and helps people so much - Employees get a real contribution and involvement with the direction of the business

Cons

- Being a relatively new start-up that is growing, it can be a fast pace for some - similarly, being an open business you get visibility of all which some people may not be used to
