Pros

Getting paid Some of the other staff were very nice people Well known consumer brand Perhaps the location but it's quite earthy rather than professional. Ducks and geese squawking in the windows while you're trying to have a phone call!

Cons

Terrible culture of bullying and fear. I have never seen such arrogance at senior management level. These guys are amateurs masquerading as business leaders. If you're one of the chosen few running this place then you're fine, otherwise you can expect a regular bollocking which appears to be their main method of motivation. Staff turnover is terrible and people go on stress leave and then just disappear. Zero trust in their people and very little respect for anyone

Pros

Cool office location. Some really nice hardworking people. Genuinely impressive products. Huge potential to be a great place to work

Cons

I've never worked in office which tolerates such disrespectful behaviour from senior management to staff. I witnessed and received some shocking behaviour. Senior management team takes pride in making people fear for their job on a daily basis. The staff turnover is huge, they seem to believe all problems are the individual people and not a wider issue. I saw some people worked so hard they were in tears after work. I saw management openly belittle, body sham and have "banter" whilst never allowing anyone to answer back. The sense self importance of certain senior managers was incredible, they really believe they're captains of industry and know everything. The HR team and social committee do try to build a sense of play hard / work hard but so often each "incentive" had an underlying catch. It was very much "take part or face consequences" despite the normal protestation being you had work which needed to be done. The owner is the best thing about the company and the worst. He's a genuine charismatic man with a clear passion to make his company a success. It is just so very sad that he is being blinkered by the 5/6 people he is paying a huge amount of money to for advice. Everyone get 3 months or so honeymoon period with him before someone feeds frustrations to him and the blame game begins. HR are not HR. Personal problems are ignored. They promote a Tech21 family with values. Well if I was a child of this family, I'd call NSPC in a heart beat.
