Worst company to ever work for!

Pros

None, literally zero. There can’t be any.

Cons

If you're considering a sales role at TechGig, do yourself a favor and run in the opposite direction. This company is a complete waste of time if you have any ambition, career goals, or self-respect. Here’s why: This Is NOT a Real Sales Job TechGig advertises this role as “sales,” but in reality, you are just a glorified admin assistant who sits around making calls while some so-called "managers" micromanage every second of your work. There is no actual business development, no real client interaction, and definitely no chance to learn true sales skills like negotiation, deal closing, or pipeline management.

Pros

You have an opportunity to bring your thoughts to reality and be innovative with what you sell.

Cons

A couple of them: * Senior leadership is biased; Account managers are always put in burning furnace to answer for numbers. Management never questions the leaders. If you do good then the leaders will take all the credit but if you are not doing good then you are answerable for everything * Some of the regional heads don't even know how to talk to their subordinates, they pass personal comments in review and stoop to any level to say anything * Regional heads have their favorites, and because of that there are certain people who get promotion without even doing anything and people get exceptionally great appraisals without even doing anything * Senior leadership keep hefty appraisals for themselves and their loved ones and never look after the people who are doing great. I worked on so many great accounts, but I was still given ME rating and a useless appraisal. * Business is so blinded that they can never see beyond regional heads, I worked on a such a huge deal and my regional head removed me and my boss from the mail trail to take all the credit for that deal and the business feels that the leaders can never be wrong * So many vintage folks have left the organization in the recent times and the new chaps have also left in a couple of months only because the managers are so ill mannered that they treat the Account Managers like blue collar employee. They use ill words like (I will make your life a living hell) * There are managers who don't know a single word about the product, but they are still in the system because they are best friends with the regional head * The company has no vision or money to run in the near future, people are so confused and scared every month for their salary, just sitting ducks waiting for one client to pay money so that the salaries could be given to employees, otherwise there are salary cuts and delays * Adding to the above, the FNFs are also delayed, I got my FNF payout after 60 days, while the company states that the rule is to pay this in 45-60 days. This happened with a couple of other folks as well. * Moreover, the incentive policy is average, and you don't get the payout easily. You have to wait for 6-9 months to get the payout, even then your boss decided whether you'll get 100% credit of the deal that you cracked or is it just going to be 10-30% * A very important point: TechGig forces it's employees to write a 5 star good review for the company on glassdoor and ambitionbox, they make it a mandate task and you are supposed to send a screenshot of your submitted review, otherwise it becomes a problem for you. That's how you see a 4.6 rating In a nutshell, I will strongly discourage anybody to join this organization, unless you really want your life to be a living hell, or may be if you are good at becoming Teacher's pet then it's a go go for you.
