Pros

I worked for Tees for 3 unfortunate years and I am sorry to say that I cannot think of one!

Cons

Do not expect any support from your team leader or manager when it comes to workload or indeed any issue within your team. You will be listened to, but it will not be acted upon/rectified/taken any further. The solicitors/managers are simply not interested in any matters concerning support staff, only that their work is done. This firm expects you to work all the hours to keep up, but will not pay you a single penny of overtime. Disgraceful. Not allowed to book holiday during busy periods, if you do, your team will moan about you! Promotions available for the right people already working within support, but only when it suits Tees. No professional training offered either- just expected to get on with it. Redundancies will be threatened, and made, as a route to get rid of staff if they do not fit the bill. High turnaround of support staff within several of the Tees offices. No car parking for support staff- solicitors only. I could go on and list the games played by these people, but it would be endless. AVOID.

Pros

Tees has multiple office locations

Cons

I have worked at Tees for a number of years and i felt very unappreciated and not valued. If you are not an attorney or a fee earner I felt that everyone looked down on you. There is two very clear groups in every office: Partners, attorneys, management and fee earners and the other side is admin and support staff. No one ever showed any interest or any development opportunities.

Pros

Good holiday entitlement. That is all.

Cons

Low pay Unfair pay between same job roles No progression - make you think there is, but you will never progress if you are in a support role. Management are terrible - if they are ‘friends’ with the managing director etc then they will get away with anything. Solicitors need management training Very clicky - lots of gossiping - doesnt help that its open plan office. The people who manage you dont even know what you do in your role, no point in them being there. Pretend to have regular reviews and 121 but they dont actually happen, and when they do they are so generic its pointless. Pay reviews you will get an extra 10£ per month it’s ridiculous. Parking for senior staff but the people who are constantly in during the pandemic get barely anything. HR are useless and do not care. Everybody wants to work from home full time because everybody hates coming into the office because nobody likes eachother The whole company is a shambles. Enough said
