Good company... if you don't mind constant layoffs

Pros

so pros are it is WFH

Cons

Management doesn't have a clear path forward, so layoffs can happen at any time to save on budget. Be cautious about joining if you have other options. I'd recommend choosing another offer or using this position only as a safety net. And don't let the HR Head fool you, they are just there to carry out the management's bad decisions.

Pros

Company direction is very clear. We literally review our purpose, mission, and values every week in company All Hands. Product and Marketing roadmaps are also reviewed in this meeting weekly. Everyone knows what the company priorities are. Lots of transparency around financial performance. So many reports and dashboards are available for anyone who cares to look at them. The People Team really cares about making it a good place to work. We have career progression outlined for every employee, reviews 2x a year, training and development budget of $1,000 for every employee, a recognition program that allows anyone at the company to give Nectar points to any other employee, and regular recognition of employees in All Hands meetings. Leadership is approachable and empathetic. There are great leaders who have been with the company for many years, as well as newer leaders bringing new ideas. We have people in every department, from Engineering to Sales to Marketing to Finance to Product to Customer Service who have been with the company for 5-10 years. Hard workers who know how to collaborate and are dedicated to producing real results are treated well and want to stay. Benefits are decent and we have unlimited PTO. We are a global, diverse team, with great people in the US, India, and China who all know how to work well together.

Cons

Hard to come up with anything major. Honestly if you enjoy what you do and want to put in the work, are comfortable with accountability, and are easy to work with, you will like it here and probably stay for a long time. If you're looking for an easy remote job where you can slack off, put in less than 8 hours of work a day, and not be held to meet your goals, you probably won't like it here. You won't last long, as has been the case with most of the negative reviews you read here.

Pros

Product has improved significantly in 2025.

Cons

1. Zero job security since people are being let go citing profitability. 2. Fake assurances given by leadership on all hands saying jobs are secure and then immediately after they start firing people and revoking access. 3. Do not take the leadership for their word. Severance offered for laid off employees is subpar
