Pros
Stable employer in the sense that if one quarter did not go well, people aren't immediately fired. Co-workers Benefits (though they got worse year by year)
Cons
Management Salary No respect from upper management. Too high manager to work force ratio. Salary is not based on the same rules across the company and can be stagnant for a really long time. Usually, the only way to affect salary is to go elsewhere and return. Management's talk behind one's back can be brutal sometimes. Lower management can stop progress for a really long time. No real R&D.
