Great industry, Bad Management

Pros

Teksavers is in a great city, and the industry is great too. Expensive IT hardware and lots of demand means this place will always find a way to make money. The employees are friendly and learning about the equipment is good. Reps can work from home which is a great plus for them.

Cons

Building employee trust and relationships is their last priority. Lazy managers will speak down to employees with no recognition for hard work. In fact, the more you get done the more work they put on you. Executives will take away profit shares to stuff their own pockets when business is slow. Management is so disorganized that the CFO constantly jumps from one dept to the other "fixing" things when he really just enables incompetence. The company president is nowhere to be found but still drives a fancy sports car. Wages are low across the board for all positions except management. Favoritism is your only way of getting promoted. There are no company events to look forward to and no way to have fun. Great employees with tons of talent have quit this place for better outcomes!

Good company to learn from but not to grow with.

Pros

Small, Family like atmosphere. Comfortable and flexible. Good place for a entry level position to the tech world.

Cons

Management does not have a full understanding of how the company works. Inconsistency on expectations. Regular criticism. Little to no encouragement or positivity from management. No opportunities to move up and advance.

Nepotism and Pure Greed

Pros

I learned what how not to run a company and not to allow myself to be treated so bad again

Cons

The owner/president thinks very highly of himself, yet looks questionable having his girlfriend of half his age walking around the office. C-Level makes decisions based on emotion rather than business sense. CFO is obsessed with a new software that turned the company from a functioning entity to a place of fear and misdirection. CEO is a glorified sales guy, has the position purely due to tenure. Their whole structure is either family or young workers. Family has the positions of stability. Young people are brought in and given a decent start 30K. Then once an employee realizes they should be compensated accordingly, they are let go. Their churn is incredible.
