- With the small office comes a lot of gossip which you can't always avoid
- Micromanagement from the CEO trickles down on all positions causing some employees frustration
- Little to no opportunities for advancement or even lateral career moves
- No cost of living adjustments. No continued education or training. No tuition reimbursement. No standardized or consistent performance reviews. No 401 K matching. Infrequent raises.
- There is free street parking but you will have to move your car every 2 hours and sometimes spots are limited. Employees can also choose to pay for Garage or Surface Lot parking.
- Insurance benefits are extremely expensive as the company only picks up 25% leaving you with very high premiums.
- This is not a posh place to work. There is a kitchen with a fridge, coffee pot, and microwave but you will need to buy your own cups, plates, cutlery, etc. There is also no filtered water. While the building itself is quite nice, the Telemet office looks like a college kid has thrown together a bunch of stuff from a yard sale. No matching chairs in the conference room for example. If perks are something that is important to you Telemet is not the place for work.
