Pros

Tbh honest there is none. Don't work here!

Cons

Lack of formal structure to the organization leaves a 50 year old company chaotic and looking as though it's in it's infancy. High Turn over rates on all levels, except for highest upper management. High Burn out amongst all direct client facing positions. Management not culturally competent. Frequently was witness to sexist, homophobic, transphobic, racist comments to staff and clients. Was expected to endure poor treatment from staff and clients with no recourse. "Suck it up " mentality. Poor Healthcare Benefits despite cost. Still paying off bills from getting routing labs done (apparently the plan they chose didn't cover standard labs...) Low Pay for expected job duties and stress.

Pros

Lots of flexibility with Management on workload and project schedule. Macro style of management that allows you to be creative in your job if you are inexperience in your field and have good work ethics. Flexbile schedule if you're not working at the programs. In general everyone has a good heart.

Cons

Overworked, lack of support, lack of understanding of needs, bare minimum staffing, high turn over rate, no formal processess of any kind of requests, everyone is either lost of doing their own thing. You must be a strong and assertive individual to survive in an environment where you do not get much training and guidance. Onboarding is usually always a mess. Lack of communication. Needs to know bases on any kind of changes down to starting a program- you will know when they go live. Macro style also allows staff who doesnt want to work to do bare minimum.

Pros

+ The clients are amazing and grateful; they are also aware of the severe deficiencies in the company but lack agency or ability to advocate for themselves.

Cons

+ Literally everything & everyone else + Lots of weird hierarchies, leadership cliques, and in-fighting + Poor communication + Lack of consistent policy + Inability to hear anything other than flattery or acquiescence to status quo + Leadership cannot tolerate critical feedback + Leadership turns concerns back on the staff as your inability to handle the intensity of the clients
