Run in the opposite direction of TISD!

Pros

Lots of remodeling going on to old buildings.

Cons

Little to NO administrative support (rude and arrogant), large class sizes, unruly students, little to NO parent support for the district. I taught on four different campuses over a 12-year period. I was very happy to get out of there.

Pros

Offered a CDA program that was *optional*. LWEC has a lot of base knowledge to truly be great. A good amount of funding was/is available.

Cons

Backstabbing and toxic environment. No leadership. I would give a rating lower than one on the "Senior Management" and "Culture and Values". Very poor and sad place.

Great resources and salary. I loved the students I had the opportunity to work with.

Cons

Non - existent teacher support. In my experience, the teachers were not valued. We were talked down to and screamed at even though we worked incredibly hard and had some of the highest test scores in the district. Communication and teamwork were non existent. We were not supported in terms of behavior management and disciplinary issues.
