Ok, if all you want is a menial paycheck. Don't expect anything more, you'll surely be disappointed.
Cons
No employee advocate, low wages, favortism, poor upper management decisions, poor middle management, high turn-over, discriminatory, no career paths, and prepare to be used and abused.
Exposure to possible law enforcement contacts for those looking for a career in law enforcement, and mostly agreeable coworkers at the peer level. Lots of low level cardio involved with exterior postings for 6-8 hours at a time.
Cons
Lack of professionalism is a major problem, upper management seems to not under stand the finer points of security nor does it seem there is an understanding of what their impact is on the local area around a contract site. Little to no room for upward mobility despite astonishing turnover rate of employees. Little to no appreciation for past experience. Hostility shown towards individual needs. General lack of enthusiasm to provide the best possible security services or a secure environment. Highly unorganized without dependable scheduling, and will go back on guarantees of 40 hour plus work weeks. Wages are low and with no benefits, even for highly experienced employees. Management has a distinct lack of tact and seems to willfully insult employees, whether about intelligence or personal appearance.
Middle and upper management was garbage. Often times they just won't answer phone calls or call back.
Health insurance is a joke. The very basic package could cost up to $100 with no pay raise to offset the coast.
They threaten to without paychecks unless you return equipment/ paperwork (this is illegal. They can not withhold your check)
The pay was terrible. A bit of backstory: Tenable apparently wanted to expand into an on-site security factory instead of just event, mobile patrol, and bodyguard stuff. My and my entire site was making $9.00. Tenable made it a point to tell us, quite happily, there would be no raises all the while crowing on about us being a family. Funnily enough. Their Cleveland employees make $11.00.
Training is a joke unless you are hired to do event security. It's also not mandatory regardless of what they say.
Tenable HQ in Cleveland, Ohio looks to be based in the ghetto.
They will regularly get your paycheck wrong. They don't offer direct deposit either.
Uniforms are cringe. You look like a state trooper with too many American flags.
