Pros

1 working from home day

Cons

- no support - favouritism for staff who suck up to the managers - low base salaries for starters - most of the recruiters are just resource managers and don’t do any BD - sometimes they will be hours with phone calls - leadership is all talk and don’t lead by example -

Pros

L&D Hardworking business with clever niche business model

Cons

Retention of mid tier management ie team leaders, managers is low. Many who come through the business feel overworked and eventually move on.

Pros

The colleagues you’ll work alongside are great people + some nice incentives that promote work-life balance

Cons

Save yourself some time and join literally any other tech recruitment agency. You’ll be nothing but a number there. Here’s just some of the cons: - Managers calling consultants and clients derogatory names that can’t be shared on this platform as per Glassdoor’s Community Guidelines. - Wasn’t told about my probation target until my 4th month in the business (and I had to ask about it). - Poor leadership from majority of AVPs. Promotions are based on billings, not leadership qualities, which anyone in recruitment would know a good recruiter doesn’t always correlate to a good manager. - No training on the CRM or company’s processes. Very much thrown in the deep end and expected to bill on day 3. - No relationships. They’ll sell you the dream about having relationships with companies like Salesforce, AWS etc but the reality is they don’t exist. - Condescending comments towards consultants by those in upper management. Just some remarks made included “are you recruiting telepathically”, “I can see you’re all doing stuff all (replaced a word there for you know what)”, “Telstra must be down with how quiet it is in here” and more. - Poor processes and no sales process. Very much in the mindset of “this is how we’ve always done it so we don’t need to change things”. Not open to any feedback or different perspectives. The lack of processes they do have, are outdated and not best practice. - Even when you ask for extra training and support and share your concerns, things won’t change and extra support won’t be provided.

Thanks for your review. I will not challenge your personal experiences, but your feedback is very different from the vast majority of new hires we onboard into Frank Group, and in Melbourne so I would be really interested to get some more details on this so I can personally investigate. We have a class leading L&D program for onboarding so I am concerned if something has not worked effectively in your case. I can be reached at n.harvey@frankgroup.com. Thanks. Nik Harvey
