Pros
Good starter job for those entering the job market. Lots to learn and lots of overlap in responsibilities. CEO is a good guy. Down to earth and genuinely likes people. Salt of the earth.
Cons
Pay is significantly lower here than most places. Not a lot of room to move up and grow with company if that’s what you are looking for. Family owned & run but not accountable. Senior management takes advantage of staff and does not treat them very well. Get in, get experience, get out.

Pros
Great people, especially the two company owners. Genuinely salt of the earth guys. As a part of the development team I learned a ton and had a really good experience and liked the guys I worked with and it formed my whole future in a good way. Keith (dev lead) is probably the smartest person I've ever met... and was pretty patient with my stupid nonsense. Also we bent over backwards nonstop to make customers happy and I think it paid off mostly, which in retrospect was rewarding even if sometimes it sucked at the time.
Cons
At the time the wages were slightly below average for Winnipeg, I think. This was many years ago though so I don't know what it's like now.
