Pros

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS PLACE

Cons

- Toxic work environment - The sales team that bullies, aggressive approach, disregards anyone else's view - Terrible management who facilitate bullying - No HR so the behaviour gets worse - No one ever smiles or is happy in this workplace - One of the main shareholders and CEO in London loves to swear and shout at his employees. To quote one employee "If he only swears at you for 20% of the time you are okay" - Constant chaos - no organisation or structure - No career progression - Awful place to be every day - It is this bad, very micromanaged - There is a person who checks every morning at 9:30 am and 5:30 pm to see if the employees are in their place - MICROMANAGEMENT - Management wants to grow but wants to do the things the same way - Definition of madness - doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result - The CEO in Sydney is Craig, and he facilitates bullying There is more, but I think that's a good overview

Pros

- Can earn quite a bit of money IF you are given the good projects and profiles, do note that this is few and far in between in my former office - SOME teammates are nice - Earn new skills within the first 3 months

Cons

- The upper management does not appreciate constructive criticism, they have lost touch with the ground and are unwilling to accept feedback from people who are actually in touch with the various industries - The middle management are yes-men who are unwilling to fight for his/her team - HR benefit here is practically non-existent. you are expected to put in long hours without compensation, except the HR team and the finance team, they always log off early - The culture here is quite unhealthy. People backstab and suck up and gossip to get to the good projects/get a better position - My office was closed down and only 3 people are retained. This company is going downhill and I advice you to never join this company.

Pros

The pay is decent compared to industry standards but not worth damaging your mental health. Some colleagues are genuinely nice and try to support each other.

Cons

Horrible Management: The management team is highly unprofessional and lacks basic managerial skills. There is no constructive feedback provided to employees, and upward feedback is not welcomed or acknowledged. Unqualified Reporting Managers: Reporting managers have very limited knowledge about marketing and lack technical understanding leading to poor guidance, mismanagement, and deeply unhappy employees. Domestic Arguments: The office atmosphere is further strained by domestic arguments between senior-level employees who are married to each other. This creates an uncomfortable and unprofessional work environment. Process-Driven to a Fault: Employees are treated more like machines expected to follow processes rather than valued contributors. There is no room for innovation or flexibility. You are just asked to do what the big boss needs, doesn't matter if it isn't ideal for your marketing strategy at that point in time. Poor Communication: New marketing processes are not explained accurately by the reporting managers, they just forward instructions shared by Head Office, raising doubts about their qualifications for their jobs. This lack of clarity leads to confusion and inefficiency. Also, the manager doesn't seem to be open to answering questions. Threatening Environment: The workplace culture is threatening, and many colleagues have been reduced to tears multiple times without any intervention or action from reporting directors or upper management. Lack of Recognition (Literally ZERO): Unless you are in sales and bringing in substantial revenue, you will never be recognised or appreciated for your hard work, infinite over-times and contributions by the seniors. This creates a demotivating atmosphere for employees in other departments.
