Amazed how a company could get away with the way they treated people outside their family.

Pros

I don't like to be all negative but I honestly can't think of any pros other then if you like going on break and listen to the CEO curse, and play ping pong and tell everyone how great he is because that's what happens everyday.

Cons

If you are not a friend or family they will eventually fire you. They don't like diversity and want everyone to act the same and never disagree with the CEO because he honestly believes there can't be any other answer other then what he says. They preach don't point fingers but that is all their family and friends do to the regular work force. Oh then there is book reports they demand you do on your time and you purchase. That's right book reports due every two weeks or they will fire you. It's in their policy. And it's not even business related books or books you think will help you do your job. No it's books their family has read and enjoyed reading. So if they like the book then you automatically better think it's great too or you won't fit there brand.

Tessemae's is a Terrible Company with a terrible product.

Pros

This company goes into the stores and steals demo product constantly. They use the excuse that the stolen merchandise is being used for demo purposes. They then tell us the employees to put the items used for demo in our report. Report???? I assumed this meant they would then mail a check to the store for products used. Nooooooooooo! They are just stealing these products. I worked at Whole foods and every time we needed paper towels or vegetables or fish my so called manager would take these items and never pay for them. He actually got kicked out of one store as he got caught.

Cons

The company does not provide you with a w2 or 1099. They make every excuse not to send you one. They use the cheapest ingredients in their products. Like the Olive oil, it's not virgin or extra virgin it's just the cheapest oil they can find.

dressing is delicious and there is some exciting passion around what they are doing

Cons

If you are not an ex college athlete, you are automatically at a disadvantage - the culture is super bro-ey and not focused on employees. There is zero leadership and zero focus on developing people. Roles are changed like the wind and the brothers act like 6 year olds.
