Pros

At times, the way the company treats its employees, especially the delivery team, is deeply discouraging. Leadership tends to focus heavily on mistakes while rarely recognizing wins, which creates a punitive atmosphere that leaves people feeling demoralized and questioning their performance. There is a clear need for meaningful change among long-tenured leaders, as concerns about favoritism have become increasingly evident that I once ignored as water cooler talk, but it is now evident. Overall, the culture has grown increasingly toxic and is negatively impacting morale.

Cons

Many employees feel afraid to speak up for fear of repercussions, and there’s a growing sense of anxiety about job security and making mistakes that leadership may disproportionately scrutinize. This approach needs to shift if the company wants to stay competitive with others that are outperforming it. The qualities that once made this a great place to work, strong incentives, meaningful perks, and talented colleagues, have eroded, replaced by cuts, removal of bonuses, reduced benefits, and the loss of valued team members.

Thank you for sharing your experience. When someone describes our culture as toxic, I do not take that lightly as a founder. Over the past year, the company has gone through an intentional reset. As leadership, we took a hard look at our priorities and sharpened our focus. That meant simplifying where we had become fragmented and raising execution standards across every function. With clearer focus comes clearer accountability. Change at this level is never easy. We are building a high-performance company with experienced leadership and board oversight. That includes direct feedback, measurable outcomes, and at times, difficult conversations. For some, that environment is energizing. For others, it can feel intense. Intensity, however, is not the same as toxicity. Culture is experienced individually, and if someone felt unheard or unsupported, that is important feedback for us. We remain committed to building a company that combines high standards and accountability. We would truly value the opportunity to listen to your concerns directly. Whether with your manager or our Director of People and Culture, we invite a conversation where you can feel supported and where we can work toward a better mutual understanding. We wish you the best moving forward. Kristel Kruustük Founder and Board Director
