Pros

Close to my house. Easy to get along with everyone.

Cons

I had to work really hard. Sometimes our clients were hard to satisfy.

Pros

The owner is a nice man, who works at the company, but he doesn't 'hover' over the employees. He's very easy going and the atmosphere is casual.

Cons

It's still working at a desk, on computers... that's the reason I didn't give 5 stars, because it's still a desk job.

Pros

Lots of smart, fun people with heart. The contractors are highly-educated and rather resilient -- they largely maintain a good sense of humor in a toxic work environment, where most of the work consists of poring through really depressing hospital records. The biggest "pro" is that when you do audit a person's records and discover that a medication caused an awful medical event, it means they will get paid.

Cons

People in management have more power than leadership ability. Some are verbally abusive. The business owner has unrealistic expectations when it comes to productivity, and contractors' jobs are threatened at least once a week. This can best be described as a culture of fear with a high turnover.
