Pros

There are good people working at TMC. Most of them are located at the Nabisco building. These people are the heartbeat of the company and truly run the company. The middle managers (Directors) are great, knowledgeable people that could one day lead the company to a better future than it is right now if they are given the opportunity.

Cons

Management ("executive team") are self-motivated and not trust-worthy. The board members appear to be clueless and allow the "executive team" to run the company to the ground, showing favoritism and nepotism as a regular operational practice. The executive's lack of business experience has resulted in a caustic environment in which their solution is to outsource everything they don't understand. Despite good people working hard, there is little to no future for legacy employees. Note: For clarity, executive team mainly includes an inexperienced COO and CEO.

Pros

Nice offices, free parking, and sometimes fun to be a part of the very exciting medical sector in Houston. Good 401k match.

Cons

Lack of vision/leadership; leaders often struggle to define what, exactly, the organization's mission is. Company culture is defined by the glitz and glamour of the TMC leadership lifestyle - the international travel, the golf outings, the beautiful CEO office, the exquisite restaurant, etc. -- more than anything of substance.

Was good! Now? I'd avoid unless you're desperate.

Pros

Good health plan, that is all at this point.

Cons

Before Doctor Robbins took over (who is gone now) the company was great! Felt like I was part of a team. Now? With Bill McKeon and Shawn Cloonan at the helm, its not focused and I feel like I'm not part of anything, just hanging on by a thread. Treated as an obstacle that all of the workers in Garagemahal have to get passed. Shawn is just not someone I'd want to work with at all, his attitude is completely bad. Worst COO I have ever worked under. Rather than understand how to do something, they outsource it. Outsource our great facilities team, outsourced the bread and butter of the company (Parking). Soon, only the top people will work for the company and every other leg of the company will be outsourced. I'm actually looking forward to getting laid off. Sad.
