Pros

If you’re good at asking people for money, for 8+ hours you’ll love this job.

Cons

The company barely gives you any detail of what the job is. They’re very slick at hiding what the company does on their website wearing business casual clothes, and having random become a entrepreneur information. The job itself tricks you again going from professional business causal to you wearing polo tee and khakis soliciting people outside of stores for the DARE program. They train you to get people’s attention to donate money. You work long hours and it’s 100% commissioned based. Not worth your time applying.

The Aloha Way Response

We apologize if the culture at The Aloha Way was not for you and if there are some things you did not like about your time with us. We would like to clarify some of your points though. We are not a pyramid scheme. We are a management training program and are developing entrepreneurs who are ready to break out of the traditional 9-5 and be their own boss. The Aloha Way leaders are mentoring young professionals and helping them develop the necessary skills to create a successful career. Our job ads and interview process explain the job description, promotion process, and client relationships. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. Pros

The company is a great place to begin your marketing career or to refine your skills as their approach to brand awareness and messaging is unique. A true team atmosphere with incredible training. Clear goals for both the company and the individual.

Cons

Unorthodox hours as we start later in the day and end later in the day. This is not a get promoted fast situation. This is not for someone who is not a self started and can take the initiative to grow professionally and personally.

Pros

Company culture and values are out of this world. We meet and greet every morning over free coffee, provided to us by the owners (Lori and Keola). Both of them have helped me tremendously in my personal life and the core systems we learn have been adapted into my daily life as well. I get excited to come to work everyday. We're helping kids live a better life and helping other various non-profits & charities. Most of these negative reviews baffle me, as those employees didn't last very long and never got the full effect of the training program or advanced very far with their fundraising. I understand this job isn't for everyone, but for those that fit, it's an amazing job & opportunity. The charities and non-profits we represent pay us from their own marketing accounts as well, so many of those broken down numbers in other reviews are simply a misunderstanding with the contract we have. I love reading the thank you letters we've received from The Max Fund (non-kill animal shelter) & local homeless shelters. Our walls are covered with pictures from our toy drives & all of our 23 nation wide locations at their local Pride Festival.

Cons

Hours are long, but once you put in the work, you get out much more!!!
