Pros
Most shifts are short 5-6 hours. Generally no glassware (makes cleanup less time consuming). Employee Discounts on drinks and food. Point system for free tickets to shows (but not all shows) You can hear and see the performances while getting paid.
Cons
The expectation of availability is not realistic. Schedules come out extremely late making it hard to balance other jobs/availability/LIFE Shifts are based on if there is an event. Events are extremely inconsistent. NO PARKING. Management speak to bartenders like children often Most staff fear speaking to management about issues due to possible repercussions (I.e.: less shifts, termination).
