Pros

The staff are lovely, the counsellors are great to work with, the teams are supportive but the owner is not.

Cons

Awful place,I have never worked anywhere that has been so terrible. The MD is inconsistent, critical and a bully, she diminishes her staff and reports on how terrible they are. She pushes people out that do not fit with her current plan. I have seen many staff struggle with anxiety and depression as a result of being overworked, undermined, compared and criticised. She is unable to take any responsible that nearly half of her staff has resigned in the last 2 months.

Pros

Colleagues are supportive and understanding of what a vile place it is to work in. Having the awareness (oh the irony) to leave the poisonous workplace

Cons

Toxic working atmosphere, narcissistic senior management who think they're god's gift to the world. There is a rude, bitter and uncaring environment created for staff and placement counsellors with little care for the clients, staff or placement /private therapists. The business ethos is money money money and not about the mental health of those who work there. The atmosphere is oppressive and feels abusive. Which is why people leave. Constantly. And yet Senior Management never consider they are the problem. It is always someone else's fault, a complete lack of self-awareness. There is a bullying culture from Senior Management, they think nothing of breaking confidentiality and humiliating anyone and everyone, including vulnerable clients. 100% unprofessional
