Abysmal. As a graduate, you are worked into the ground, paid a pittance and treated terribly.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of The Barton Partnership.
It is surprising to read this as our graduate retention has always been high; something we are extremely proud of.
I am also saddened to read your comment on work/life balance. This is something we have worked hard to commit to as a key benefit to all our employees, regardless of seniority. As an example, all TBP employees get a flexi hour to use once a week, unlimited holiday, a day off on their birthday, a social budget for team events, a quarterly half day for our company social - to name a few.
As an ex-employee, I’d be keen to hear any additional feedback you may have. This helps us to continuously improve and to make TBP a great place to work for everyone. Please feel free to drop me an email on Nicholas.barton@thebartonpartnership.com - I’d really appreciate it, thank you.
Witness first hand the perfect example of how a boss should NEVER be.
Cons
Take everything you're told by Management with a massive fist-full of salt. Get everything you're promised committed to in writing, and then print it just in case. Toxic and pervasive culture of extreme micro-management and overwhelming distrust.
Serious absence of career progression opportunities. Uncompetitive commission structure. Paranoid, controlling, rude, bullying and absurdly litigious boss who doesn't absorb feedback or care about his staff.

Any kind of review, whether positive or negative is taken seriously.
On the points you’ve listed however, I would challenge your claim that there is an absence of career opportunities within the business. We’ve celebrated a record number of promotions this year alone, opened two international offices and most of our talent is organically home grown. Nearly all of our senior leadership team started as Graduates and worked their way up through the ranks.
We review our commission structure bi-annually and undertake competitor analysis to ensure what we offer is market leading and competitive.
Staff are regularly trained, invested in and cared for as part of the TBP family. I’d welcome a conversation with you personally on this, so please feel free to reach me directly on Nicholas.barton@thebartonpartnership.com - thank you.
Good company size, good benefits, good learning potential for grads to understand the recruiting & business world, clear trajectory, you can get promoted fairly quickly, autonomy once you become consultant
Cons
poor culture, not very diverse (in terms of gender split & cultural diversity), too rigid re. working hours, a lot of cold calling (as to be expected in any recruitment job)
