Pros

All of the positive reviews on here are fake.. people get asked to leave good reviews.

Cons

Catty environment- lots of talking behind backs No support No progression No bonuses Everyone’s paid very differently and very unfairly No benefits - “free car park” isn’t a benefit Unless you kiss up to the COO you probably won’t get anywhere. They think putting tables in the car park and everyone having finger sandwiches out there is a bonus. You should pay fairly and offer benefits. The HR team is poorly managed too. Very high turnover. Toxic environment - it’s all about who you know and are friends with. Bully culture.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am truly sorry to see that you feel you've had a negative experience at Curve. We really do invest so much into trying to create a warm and inclusive culture where each and every one of our employees feels supported, empowered to do their best, develop their careers, are remunerated and rewarded fairly and have a great life-work balance. We would very much welcome a conversation to discuss your feedback further, especially as you are still with Curve. Please do get in touch via CurveHR@thecurvegroup.co.uk for a confidential conversation if you do not wish to raise any of these points with your Line Manager. PS I can confirm that we no longer ask employees to leave reviews of any kind, nor have we done so for several years as this does not feel genuine, therefore the reviews are real and posted by employees as and when they feel compelled to do so.

I’m really sorry to hear your experience of working with us wasn’t as Curvy as we would have liked. I note that you disapprove of the CEO – as such, as the CEO, I would very much value the opportunity to speak to you in person about your experiences. My personal mobile is 07775 542443, please do get in touch. As I’m sure you know, we grew by over 66% last year and had over 150 new people work in our business. Our focus on investing in people, their capabilities and creating a positive and empowering working environment for all of our employees clearly missed the mark for you personally, so I would love to have a chat with you to understand what we could have done better and also so that your lasting impression of us as you move on to pastures new isn’t in line with the comments you have shared. Kind regards, Lyndsey Simpson, CEO

Pros

Non at all unless you like working on a strange farm and don’t expect a bonus or any benefits

Cons

No benefits above standard. Rubbish bonus with unrealistic company targets so they can keep the cash for themselves. If your face doesn’t fit in this cliquey family then it’s horrible.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. As you are no longer with us, I'd like to let you know that we'd welcome you to discuss all of your feedback directly with our CEO or HR team and we will take all of your feedback on board. If this is something you'd like to do, please do get in touch via CurveHR@thecurvegroup.co.uk. We really love our offices - yes they're on a farm which is quite unique but it's a lovely, tranquil environment envied by many of our clients when they visit! We invested in a big refresh project prior to re-opening the office after the last lockdown ended and everyone is delighted to be back in such a fresh space. We have also invested in providing a number of new benefits for our employees in recognition of the amazing work they've done, including an additional 5 days of holiday, an employee assistance programme and cycle to work scheme. In terms of our bonus schemes - we have a number of these in operation and are always looking to reward employees for their performance. As a medium-sized business, we are highly cognizant of balancing the need to retain a percentage of income in order to re-invest into further developing, enhancing and future-proofing the business, maintaining our reserves so that we can provide ongoing security for our teams and paying bonuses. We also don't want to drive the wrong behaviours by over-incentivising, therefore make sure our pay is fair and in line with market rates and experience and that as one team, we focus on delivering a quality service to all of our customers. Again, we'd very much welcome a direct conversation so do please get in touch.
