Pros

- Fun work environment - Minimal responsibilities - 95% of the coworkers are phenomenal (depending in your location) - Flexible schedule - Access to insane amounts of music, movies, and games - Okay discounts on used products (depending on your level/length of employment)

Cons

- It doesn't matter if you've been there for five days or five years, you're replaceable in the eyes of upper management - Highly unprofessional - Minimal opportunity for advancement - Comical pay raises - Zero benefits - Your success doesn't depend on your performance, it only depends on how much management likes you - Managers hire their friends, not qualified applicants (depending on location)

Pros

- Reasonable discount on USED items (If you're in management.) - In-store co-workers are generally awesome. - Flexible hours, willing to work around other employment and school schedules. - Fairly easy work, except for the handling unsanitary products traded in by customers.

Cons

- Owners are aggressive and disrespectful people. Often putting there employees in stressful and unethical situations. This includes screaming at them, calling them names and degrading them. - Owners micro-manage all stores, often pushing their regional supervisors out of the picture so they can berate their employees directly. - Terrible pay, management staff makes fifty-cents to a dollar more than minimum wage. - Finds ways to avoid giving raises and when you do get one you'll be lucky to get twenty-cents. - You are expected to handle customer trades covered in animal and human bodily fluids and fecal matter. Also things with mold, condoms etc in them. - Employees are not provided with the tools and equipment needed to operate the stores in a safe and efficient mater. Most of the equipment (cleaning supplies and electronic devices a like) do not function properly. - You're never permitted to speak your mind of defend yourself ever. If you do they will find a reason to fire you. They exhibit extreme favoritism and will fire you simply because you don't kiss their butts or they simply don't like you.

Pros

Fun work environment most of the time, flexible schedule, employee discount.

Cons

Micro managed by higher ups, corporate seems to have no idea what to stock on release dates mostly for games, horrible pay, no benefits for full time non salary, minimal raise (if any) for promotions, favoritism throughout entire company, scheduling employees is kept to minimum regardless of the amount of work expected, computer software is extremely out of date and slows down productivity, told to make the customer happy but then disciplined for doing so in some cases, several employee reviews written weekly causes management to have to "nit pick" to meet quota, seems to be no goals financially besides "do better than last year" when very few personnel have access to that information to monitor progress, one employee does wrong at one location and the whole chain changes their ways to prevent the same instead of that one person being handed, policies change very often, managers are sent to different locations as "punishment" so the company doesn't lose them, upper management is not straight forward with expectations, high turnover, training is done on the fly leaving new hires doing busy work until there is time to train them further,
