Pros

Good people Good work culture Transparent and democratic

Cons

You have to pretty much give up your weekends . That's the biggest drawback in this job.

Pros

A workplace that truly believes in its employees having an active life outside work. One of the few places that really appreciates having and sharing a passion. The resources that are available to learn so many things that are not part of the daily job responsibilities. A leave policy that will blow your mind.

Cons

The only cons that I can think of are working really long hours at times; but to be honest its not long hours in the office, its more of working at the race event venues. Feedback about work culture is not always explicit. The pay is a bit sub-par but i think the leave encashment policies and the work-life balance truly compensates.

Thank you thank you thank you!! If there was ever an organization that could figure out how to cut down long hours at events, it would be us. Nobody else puts together better planned events than us - so maybe this is the logical next step. Ideas? I'd like to hear em! I have some of my own... so tell me when you can chat

Pros

Transparency - from compensation across the board to policies and workplace decisions, everything is shared candidly with the whole organization Consensus - either buy-in is taken or understanding & acceptance is sought on all important decisions that affect everybody Learning - a culture of constant learning and improvement. Mentoring, reverse mentoring, candid and straightforward communication style, leadership that always takes time to coach.. few ways of promoting a culture of learning Profit sharing & ESOPs - great practices - making sure there is the framework for employees to see non-linear increase in earnings Business awareness - everyone from support functions to new recruits inside businesses have a sense of overall business outlook. It helps everyone build entrepreneurial muscles - one of the stated goals of the CEO

Cons

Not a con, more of a focus area - innovation. Focussing on trends across industries we operate in, a knowledge of what is trending elsewhere and how we ought to react to these changes; more social media awareness and a more tech savvy workforce.
