Pros
This is the first company that I've worked for that I feel truly values me as an employee, and the amount of respect and positivity that I receive every day is exemplary. Plus, I like working for a company whose mission fits with my values regarding sustainability. There's a lot of opportunity for growth for us as a company and for me professionally as an employee. I feel like I can carve out my own niche here, and I continually get support from management to do so. And I have friends in the office! That's important to me. We're working together rather than against each other with a lot of encouragement from my coworkers. The perks are a plus, too - free medical insurance, snacks, parking, and flexibility (I love the open vacation policy!).
Cons
It's a fast-paced environment, which might not appeal to everyone. And you have to feel comfortable taking the initiative on projects; you can't wait around for someone to tell you what to do or give you the answers. It's a lot of hard work, but the environment makes that fun rather than burdensome or stressful.
