A lovely club but don’t be fooled by the rose tinted glasses you get handed on your first visit
Pros
The walk through the grounds from the main gate to the club house is the best way to start the day. Most of the members are an absolute joy to work with.
Cons
The lack of care from direct supervisors is disheartening and several complaints to senior management can and will fall on deaf ears. The yearly “performance" bonus is an insult and is not reflective of your efforts - you’ll find yourself getting the same valuation at the end of the year as someone that has been underperforming, just for “political correctness in the workspace" Unsociable and long hours - at the weekend you’ll find yourself doing a 12h shift on a Sunday, sometimes having to close at 10pm and being back in the morning at 6/8am the following day You can find yourself on the receiving end of “old school” misogynistic/racist slurs from a minority of members and complaints against members don’t always get dealt with by (some) supervisors as they want an easy life
