      Worst job ever!

      Pros

      The M Resort is a beautiful property and it has great potential if they had the right marketing plan. I was part of the opening team which was extremely talented and professional team. I use to have a blast at work but then... Penn Gaming took over.

      Cons

      Penn Gaming destroyed this property. They want to make money without spending money which creates upset guests that won't come back.

      Atmosphere of mistrust

      Cons

      Executive management has created a culture of mistrust and cut throat practices among the employees. Everyone is so concerned about losing there jobs or know there is no opportunity for advancement without throwing a fellow team member to the wolves. Executive management starting from the GM have no loyalties to anyone or anything other than their bonuses. Positions are being eliminated and there are more to come all in the name of assuring they receive their 5-6 figure annual bonus. If you value integrity, job security, fair practices, stability, loyalty, compassion and a sense of family then the M Resort is not the place for you.

      The job is pretty laid back.

      Pros

      Decent pay, Low stress, decent benefits package, free lunch, uniforms. Pretty much the place is a cake walk compared to most companies.

      Cons

      The pay doesn't compare to strip casinos that pay at least 50% more. The HMO is not very good if you or family need a lot of medical attention. And really the biggest problem can be the lack of communication in the whole company.
