Pros

Some truly great people. Flexible working environment with lots of autonomy and perks.

Cons

There's a real skill gap in some areas, and some people aren't equipped to pull their weight, which creates more work for others.

Pros

Great artistic place. You meet some fantastic people across the city and country!

Cons

Adjusting to turnover in different managerial positions can be challenging. Excellent and extremely talented people are pushed out for trivial reasons and rules, while senior management appears to bend or adjust those rules for themselves. I've been at the Moth for a very long time, and watching it grow over the past 15 years has been amazing. However, there are choices that leadership makes that make me question whether I can stay here any longer. There are people in managerial positions who got the job because they won a Story Slam, or they can work a room. Honestly, this is true for some of the freelancers.
