Pros

good salary, vacation & benefits package.

Cons

The CEO is in over his head, prefers to comport himself as a symbolic good guy with superficial bonuses such as a lax (bordering on sloppy) Dress code, food spreads from local restaurants at lunch time 3-4 times per month, & a pool party at his house. All sound great, problem is he wants sycophants on his team not honest, shoot from the hip managers. He has raided his former company to replace excellent managers. The new hires all talk, walk & act alike. A lot of show, no go. Meanwhile the new markets the company entered this year are failing, leads drying up, and this bozo is planning theme parties.

Pros

great people to work with, good PTO benefits

Cons

Management claims to be transparent but always has a hidden agenda. Most departments are understaffed. Encouraged employees to write positive reviews to improve Glassdoor ratings.

Pros

Decent benefits and a generous time off policy.

Cons

If you're not one of their advisers they really won't care much about you. They used to care about all the employees but now they only cater to the advisers (including those that can't do their jobs) while the rest of the company does just as much to run the ship. Sure, they'll pat you on the back and give you verbal accolades, but that will never translate into promotional opportunities or monetary compensation. If you get a bonus, assume the adviser gets 10x or more above and beyond yours regardless of how much effort you put in compared to them. Below average 401k match. No growth opportunity.
