Run by beauty spa bimbos and big pharma rejects

Pros

Laid back - no one works 5 days a week - 8-5. Most work only 4 days a week, leave by 3:00, even schedule their kids dentist appts at 10:00 a.m.

Cons

Clique at the top - It's difficult for a newcomer to make inroads when gossip and rumors are high. Those there the longest are holding on hoping the company will be sold soon so there isn't must interest in new ideas or ways to grow the business. Several times a month, I hear in meetings and the hallway - "Well this company will be sold in 2 to 3 years. Incompetent management. They don't know what they're doing but the slightest negative comment on your part will immediately get your fired - (see previous reviews) I've seen it happen where many good people are walked out the door with absolutely no reason at all - so I and many others say nothing. These pharma rejects and beauty school bimbos think they can compete on a professional basis against armies of highly trained, intelligent and sophisticated pharmaceutical sales reps - no you can't. The company is laughable. That's why the company has done nothing but tread water the last 5 years-status quo. The families who own the company don't demand much and it has cost them dearly.

Pros

bonus if company does good for the year, free food, parties, some nice people, summer hours

Cons

some snobby people, top-heavy with management, management needs to always be in control, no loyalty, people are either leaving or being escorted out, demanding master's degrees to get in company door and it is NOT needed. (this is SKINCARE people! we are not saving lives here!) good people get overlooked, people constantly snitch on you to management even telling them personal business, cannot trust ANYONE

Pros

Technology Is amazing - Exuviance is a great product for any age. Company is small, and some great people who work there

Cons

Failed marketing plan- period. Has missed its target completely - the marketing Is mediocre at best- W and Vogue? Print? Exuviance should try for effective social media campaigns and you tube videos that are effective for successful brand traffic instead of marketing to bloggers who are biting and ineffective, posting pictures of cookies, and showing dry, unanimated older women using the product. Ulta? Seriously? Grow within your industry- start thinking outside the box instead of the 1980's- How a product has been on the shelf this long, with a functional marketing team, and yet no one knows who or what the product is, is something that needs to be seriously considered. Why the marketing department still not only controls the brand, but the success of Exuviance as a whole- is a testament to the true culture of what Exuviance hopes to be-
