Not really what it seemed

Pros

Most of the employees were a joy to work with. They truly loved what they did and seemed to enjoy the relationships built.

Cons

The owner, she's oblivious on how to effectively run and operate a business. She operates on emotion and not business acumen. I wish I could give more information on how she was a joy to work with or for, but she isn't. It's truly a place that lacks diversity and stiffles creativity. In addition, leadership she's surrounded herself with are a group of "mean girls." The company will either fold under itself through the owners lack of leadership or the main client, who is 90 percent of their income, pulls out.

Pros

It's a very small office but the view is nice. Next to the battery. Easy location if you live in the northwest suburbs / Cobb County area, but otherwise difficult to get to with heavy traffic if you commute from the city.

Cons

I'm writing this to help others make a more informed decision when interviewing for roles at The Partnership. Leadership can be very deceitful. For starters, they urge employees to make very positive reviews about them on Glassdoor - keep that in mind when you're reading other reviews. I was lied to about my job description, hours, work/life balance, future career growth and compensation during my interview. They will say whatever they need to in order to persuade you to take the job. Once you are in the organization, it's very fractured with small groups that seem to take opposing sides on all sorts of business and client issues. If you aren't in with leadership, and especially the owner, it can feel like you're on the outside of an exclusive club where your thoughts, wants and needs aren't taken into consideration. Besides a select few people, it almost feels like a mean girls club. I wish I would have accepted other offers when I was interviewing - I feel as though I was tricked into working at The Partnership.
