The protocols are constantly changing
There is a huge disconnect between expectations and what is achievable
Not all the employees are on the same page about the quality of work they are putting out
No one calls out the owner when she is trying to implement something that doesn't work
Much more responsibility than the typical kennel tech role anywhere else including, Cleaning up after the dogs, feeding the dogs, sending updates to the parents, responding to emails, answering phone calls, cleaning the other park, cleaning the lobby, cleaning the kitchen, cleaning the whole grooming side, occassionally bathing dogs, occasionally staying late or coming in early, picking up and dropping off dogs for daycare/grooming
Managment is almost impossible to reach outside of their* working hours
There is not a shift lead on every shift
Usually understaffed, you can be one kennel tech to up to 20 dogs. You're supposed to have atleast 2 there but that doesn't mean that both of you will be in the park together.
