Pros

The REMM Group staff is the only reason why I'm leaving a star. They are a group of underpaid, undervalued, hardworking people.

Cons

Prior to leaving for another job opportunity, I worked at the corporate office of The REMM Group. I can only attest to my time spent at Corporate. Part of my duties were to assist the executives, mainly the CEO and the COO, as well as serve in a support role in the Operations Department. I noticed a pattern of inefficiency and inadequacy in the Operations Department. New procedures, policies, software, etc. were constantly being implemented, but never enforced. There was no real direction as to where the department was going, it felt as though decisions were made on a whim. The management style of the executives made it impossible to complete projects. Their preferred management style was micromanagement. Anything as simple as sending an email to a client needed approval. They constantly got hung up on tiny, insignificant details. The bigger picture seemed to be lost on them. Their lack of trust and confidence in their employees was insulting. The incompetent leadership of the Operations Department may stem from the fact that the company is only (approx.) 5 years old. The company has yet to develop a motivating, team oriented office culture. It attempts to portray a youthful, progressive culture. However, in reality, the office is uncomfortable and filled with politics, gossip, and tension— an atmosphere which the executives are responsible for creating.

Pros

Immediate colleagues are a great support system. Housing discounts are available for certain positions.

Cons

-Certain Regional managers do not know how to manage their teams. They are too busy to help you, coach, or properly train, and when you reach out with things needed they never respond. -Regional retaliates by withholding growth opportunities from you. -Regional creates a toxic work environment and makes you feel incompetent.

Pros

This company is moving and shaking, and as a result will have/does have many opportunities for career advancement. Upper management has a huge heart space for its employees, and the CEO is wonderful. They expect excellence so if you're lazy, slow paced, and lack attention to detail it wouldn't be a fit.

Cons

The residential side is a new area for this company, so they are still constantly working out kinks. Demanding excellence but not having resources set in place can make for a stressful workload. Communication isn't the best to on-site employees, but that will get better as they "work out all the bugs"
