Pros

Free employee meal (though the food is hit or miss) Free dry cleaning of uniform & employee locker room Lots of disgruntled and jaded employees to grumble with

Cons

Upper management is inept and out of touch Too many managers and not enough low level employees Chronically understaffed Little communication between departments Lots of write ups for minor infractions - no verbal warnings or retraining, just a write up No cross training

All that Glitters is not Gold

Pros

...I'm trying to look for something good to say; but the words escape me. The lobby is opulent...

Cons

Favoritism, HR is more concerned with being best buddies with upper management; than taking an employees pain & suffering seriously. Sexism, Racism, and Prejudices occur all day. The managers are incredibly snarky with their employees, bullying them into their boys club; if you do not fit in.. they will ostracize and make working for them a living hell.

Pros

They spare no expense to cater to anything that the guest wants or needs, and anything they didn't already know they wanted or needed. The guests are the number 1 priority.

Cons

Well the best pro is also the biggest con. While the guests are number one. There are times that whats best for the employee comes second, but that's hospitality if you ask me.
