Pros

There are none. There were always various uncertainties, one day you wondered if you were going to get paid, the next you would wonder if you were going to have a job.

Cons

Management was probably the most disorganized and careless "team" ever.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. The company was unfortunately forced to file Chapter 11 Reorganization last year. The court recently approved the reorganization plan and we are still in business today. The employees of the company continue to work hard, providing excellent results with our cost reduction services.

We understand you are disappointed by your recent termination. As an employment-at-will company, we sometimes have to make difficult decisions for the greater good of both the company, and our clients. In the meantime, the SALT Group team will continue to reduce costs and increase cash flow for american businesses. We sincerely wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

They do give advances on your paycheck if you have an emergency. This is the only pro I can think of.

Cons

I worked at the Salt and thought I would stay until retirement, but alas, the true nature of company management reared it's ugly head over and over. Management showed everyone that it does not matter how hard you work, only if they like you will you get promoted and receive very large raises. They will promote and give special privileges to people they like over others who have worked there longer, harder, and with better experience and in some cases more education. I believe that this behavior by management is a culture that needs to be addressed, reviewed, and corrected.

The Company is firmly committed to treating employees and applicants for employment without regard to their race, religion, color, national origin, sex, genetic information, age (if over forty [40]), or disability (if otherwise qualified to do the job). Generally, employees are hired for an indefinite period of time, and either the employee or the Company is free to terminate the employment relationship at will.
