Pros

small office, laid back dress code

Cons

Unjustly fired me and others with lack of reasoning. Later found out it was because they couldn't afford to cut my checks. No severance pay. I would definitely not even apply to any jobs they post in the future if they don't go out of business first.

Pros

This was a great place to work with a family type environment.

Cons

The business plans had not caught up to the changing landscape of news. This made sales goals impossible to hit and the transition to digital advertising was not smooth enough to stay on.

Pros

Everyone in the office is great it's like a family. You will come here and learn a lot about business, sales, contract negotiations, consultative selling, and the advertising business. I would work here forever, I love the Sentinel, but in this current greedy and broken health insurance world, it's just too expensive of benefits for my whole family. Vote Bernie or Yang 2020.

Cons

Know the medium you're about to get in to. This is an advanced strategic sales postion, not a quick transactional sale. Benefits are too pricey if you're responsible for your entire family but the individual benefit is actually the best I've ever seen.
