Pros

Discounted services; that is literally it.

Cons

The CFO, Jerry Brandy, is a misogynistic man who belittles and berates the females who work for him at a company geared to empower women, ironically! He will pay you insultingly low hourly rates ($15-20/hour depending on how "close" to him you are) despite years of education and experience and falsely offer you commissions and raises. Don't ask about those though! Even if you bring in thousands of dollars daily in revenue! If you do he will fire you and surprise! There is a 2 year non-compete he will force you to sign that will illegally prohibit you from working within a 30 mile radius of Pittsburgh and if you prove that the non-compete is unenforceable (which it is) after spending a ton of money on a lawyer, they will then contact all competing business, along with any other company you go to work for, and attempt to blacklist you and keep you from working. Don't believe me? Call any Med Spa in the greater PGH area and ask if they'll employ you after working for the Skin Center. Run far away from this company if you know what's best for you. Very bad people.

Pros

Good training when you first start. Good work life balance. Flexible with schedule. Center managers are great.

Cons

Upper management doesn’t seem to care about employees. No room for growth or pay raises. No recognition for good work. Upper management talks down to employees. Tells employees they are worthless, they complain about doing an “easy job”, they don’t deserve a raise. Upper management is degrading towards women in general. They make you sign a strict non-compete that keeps you from getting another job in the area doing aesthetics for 2 years after quitting. They will take legal action on you and harass you if you try to break the contract.

Pros

- Company does try and respect and show genuine concern for family - Great employee perks in terms of treatments - Flexible scheduling

Cons

- Overly competitive and unproductive environment - No real chain of command - truly a free for all... - More intentional back stabbing than even describable - Lots of closed door conferences and whispering - Dr. is not reasonable with employees
