      Happier being unemployed, abusive work env't., demeaning mgmt. practices, dubious biz model, your skills will atrophy

      Pros

      I joined The Sourcery because I thrive in entrepreneurial environments and relished the opportunity to leverage my client strategy and startup team building skills in a tech recruiting position.

      Cons

      Management, no benefits, no training, toxic office culture, mentally and emotionally abusive environment, borderline HR practices, inefficient systems ( plus no phone or dependable internet), slavish hours, etc. etc.

      Pros

      - WFH Fridays - Some co-workers are amazing to work with...probably the only reason I was able to stay sane at the job - My team lead and the head of operations cared about my well-being as a whole

      Cons

      - Won't pay their employees market value because they care more about the bottom line - Management is toxic (except the head of operations and operations manager, they are fabulous) - Micro-managed environment - The turn over rate is VERY high - They'll throw you under the bus in a second - Everyone I was close with wanted to leave, which fostered a negative environment - They send the message that they are concerned with work/life balance...but it's not true. All they care about is if you work yourself to the bone to give the what they want. It's a joke

      Pros

      I wish I could say there were legitimate pros. Located in San Francisco is about it.

      Cons

      The work culture is absolutely cut throat and terrible. They recently hired someone to come in and work on it, but they quit after a month.
